National Food Safety Week 2008

National Food Safety Week 2008 will be held 10-16 November 2008 – the week after Melbourne Cup.

The theme is Food Adventures – New foods, New techniques. It will focus on food safety in the light of Australians adventurous spirit in adopting such a wide array of foods in their diets, and new cooking techniques which are becoming mainstream.

National Food Safety Week is the major activity of the Food Safety Information Council, Australia’s leading disseminator of consumer targeted food safety information.

Activities and Mailout

For those of you wishing to organise activities during this time, a variety of resources will be available.

The resource mailout will take place in late August and early September.

In order to take part in the mailout you need to complete the attached order form and return it via email by the end of August.Order form

Your Help Needed

The Food Safety Information Council needs your help to ensure enough resources are available for everyone.

Council resources are largely funded through membership, sponsorship and supporter contributions. Therefore, the more members, sponsors and supporters, the more resources can continue to be available at no cost.
